Profile bottles in wine libraryMake plans to join us at Merryvale for a very special wine tasting event, “A TASTE OF PROFILE THROUGH THE DECADES” on Sunday, April 24th from 10am to 1:30pm.
During this sensory experience guests will gain a fuller understanding of how great Napa Valley Cabernet evolves in the bottle and which Profile vintages are personal favorites. This 60-minute guided seminar will be led by Merryvale proprietors assisted by an engaging and highly regarded Napa-born Master Sommelier, Sur Lucero. Following this tasting, guests will be treated to an Italian inspired lunch catered by Tre Posti and paired with Merryvale and Profile Collection wines. 2018 Pinot Gris, Carneros
A unique expression of Pinot Gris with bright, mouth-watering acidity, fresh citrus and floral notes and hints of honey-suckle developing nicely on the soft and round palate.

Food Pairing:   Seared Scallops with Pinot Gris Butter Sauce

Ageability:   Enjoy for 5+ years from vintage date.

2016 Pinot Noir, Stanly Ranch Estate, Carneros
Showing the full potential of Stanly Ranch Pinot Noir, this wine was made exclusively from Dijon Clone 667 (Blocks 1B and 1D) which expresses itself with complexity on the nose, a slight refreshing herbal component along with richness and elegance on the palate.

Food Pairing:   Fennel-Scented Duck Breasts with Pinot Noir Sauce

Ageability:   Will gain complexity over the next 10+ years.

2017 Pinot Noir, Lee Vineyard
Made from one particular block of the Lee Vineyard which is planted to the Swan Clone, this wine tends to be the lightest and most feminine of our single vineyard Pinot Noir bottlings, evoking Burgundian thoughts.

Food Pairing:   Chicken Breasts with Rosemary and Thyme

Ageability:   Savor over the next 7+ years.

2018 Pinot Noir, Carneros
A regional expression of Carneros Pinot Noir sourced from multiple vineyards on the Napa side of Carneros. Ours is a seleccion masal Pinot Noir, not meant to express a single clone or vineyard. The goal of this wine is to retain a varietal correctness with a sense of place.

Food Pairing:   Leek-and-Pecorino Pizza with Ground Lamb.

Ageability:   Enjoy over the next 5+ years.

2020 Sauvignon Blanc
Notes of lemongrass, guava and honeydew melon with a bright freshness and lingering finish.
2017 Pinot Noir, Brown Ranch
The biggest and most concentration of our Pinots with rich, dense flavors from the Pommard Clone.
2018 Cabernet Sauvignon
Rich and balanced with notes of blackberries, cassis and dark chocolate.
2019 Merryvale Chardonnay, Carneros
A classic example of what Carneros fruit can offer with notes of lemon curd, pineapple and light toast.
2018 Merryvale Merlot, Coombsville
We love the freshness and dark fruit character of Merlot from this AVA.
